Intro + How Author First Fell Into The Drama Pit...

Hello, blog readers! This is Fei斐's first writing on this blog. Some of you might not know, but this is actually my second blog since I started writing at my other 'Pretty' blog, where I post my book translations.

One day, I thought that making another blog to specialize on my Asian drama and film favorites/ recommendations by writing my reviews, personal thoughts and perhaps some tad bit of spoiler here and there (I will try to put some sort of sign before and after the spoiler so that if any of you are not a fan of spoiler, you can safely avoid those parts later on :)) wasn't a bad idea at all.

About author:

I grew up watching Asian (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines) dramas and movies because my mother is an English-Indonesian drama translator . I can almost recognize any Korean or C-romance (yes, I mostly watch romance genre) dramas airing in the 2000s. As I said before, I mostly enjoy romance-genre dramas😀. Therefore, my apologies, you might find my posts almost fully filled with this genre in the future. However, I also watch other genres with romance as their additional underlying perks HAHAHAHA.

As far as my memory can remember, my first drama was when I was 6, which was even before I could read easily. So, let's forget about reading subtitles, I couldn't even follow up with what they were talking about. It's all about ゚.+ VISUALS ֯.+°. Anyway, the drama I was talking about is the all-time K-drama campus romance classics from 2009ー Playful Kiss, also known as Mischievous Kiss, which later I found out that it was adapted from a manga of the same name.

Baek Seung-jo truly was a prince charming (and first ever tsundere) to a 6-year-old girl, who had never had any heart-throbbing experience in her whole 6 years of life ∗lol∗ (〃▽〃)

Not long after Playful Kiss, I started to continue watching foreign shows. Starting with Running Man, a 2010 Korean variety show, my journey on becoming the so-called master sailed smoothly until today. Eventually, I earned myself the 'Drama Dictionary' title from my circle of friends (/ω\). People around me also like to ask me about my favorite (Asian) drama recommendations, hence this blog was made. Occasionally, I would also randomly write a review on the drama or movie I just watched through my Instagram post. So, writing on this blog is just an alternative platform to share these Instagram posts in a more compiled and organized way☻.

Unfortunately, I have no definite schedule to post my reviews on this blog at the moment, but I will do my best to update at least once every month. Thank you for reading until this full stop. I hope you will find your new favorite while reading my favorite list to come! You are my greatest support for me to keep on writing ^^ Your comments are very much appreciated♡ Have a nice time for the rest of your day. See you very soon~!

Bonus (read: proof ㅋㅋㅋ[1]):

A friend of mine made a question box on her IG story, asking for some drama/movie recommendation. Here's my answer for her and she posted them on her IG story, saying "As expected from this film expert🤣🤣" LOL. Pardon my mixed broken Indonesian and English! And P.S. I gave her 10+ answers v( ̄∇ ̄)

[1] ㅋ is the korean alphabet for 'K'. However, if you put more than one ㅋ together, which makes the sound 'kkk', it refers to someone's laughter. Similar in the usage of 'ㅎㅎㅎ' (hhh/hahaha) in Korean; 'LOL'; 'HAHAHAHA'; 'WKWKWKWK', '555' in Thailand; and '23333' in Chinese😐.

How many ways of expressing laughter do you know? Comment down bellow!
